How to play iTunes movies on Nintendo Switch

Thanks to the Movies Anywhere app, you can now play iTunes-purchased movies on Switch! We will walk you through how to do it. Check out the step-by-step tutorial below!
There’s now a YouTube app for Nintendo Switch. With a free service called MoviesAnywhere, you can link up all your accounts – including Amazon Prime, iTunes, Microsoft Movies & TV, FandangoNow, Xfinity, and Vudu – and then by linking your Movies Anywhere account to Google Play, all your flicks will show up under “Purchases” on YouTube.
1. Download the Movies Anywhere app on your smartphone and create an account
2. On the right, tap “more”, then tap “manage retailers”
3. Now simply link your Google Play and iTunes accounts (Vudu also available)
4. Go to the YouTube app on Nintendo Switch and sign into that same Google email
5. Click the folder icon and them “purchases”
6. You will now see all of your iTunes purchases available for streaming at no extra cost

However, Movies Anywhere is only open to U.S. residents 13+.

How to play iTunes movies on Nintendo Switch if you are out of U.S.? You can download iTunes movies to mp4 and then play them on Nintendo Switch Using Plex .

Step 1. Download and install Plex Media Server to your computer if you haven't.

Step 2. Launch the Plex Media Server, import the converted mp4 iTunes movies you would like to stream following the screen wizard.

Step 3. Type the URL of your Plex in the address bar of Nintendo Switch's web browser, you will find the movies in Plex, then just click on the video you want to start playing.

Follow below steps to convert iTunes DRM protected m4v movies to mp4 to play with Plex.

Step 1 Download, install and run iTunes Movie Converter on your Mac or Windows.

The interface is shown as below:

Step 2 Click Add files and you will find all movies and TV shows in your iTunes Library listed below. Check the ones you want to convert and then click Add.

This iTunes Movie Converter will preserve all original AC3 Dolby 5.1 Audio, AD, multilingual Audio Tracks, Subtitles and Closed Captions by default, but you can click the gear icon and decide which to save.

Step 3 Click convert button to start removing DRM from all selected iTunes movies and TV shows. Output MP4 videos will be saved to Documents/Ondesoft iTunes DRM Media Converter/Converted folder by default. You can change it on the top right corner of the interface.

Step 4 iTunes Movie Converter removes iTunes DRM at 30X speed and soon you will get all DRM-free MP4 video files. After conversion, click below blue folder icon to quickly find the DRM-free iTunes movies/TV shows.
